Q. What is the difference between eco- and standard carpet cleaning? A. Eco carpet cleaning is an environmentally safe method for cleaning carpets, upholstery, curtains and mattresses. The cleaning products that are applied are 100% natural, plant-based, non-toxic, and biodegradable. They do not contain harmful ingredients, and are as effective as normal detergents and solvents. However, complete stain removal is not always possible without using chemical treatment. That is why we also offer to apply standard treatment to your carpets, if you wish so. Q. Is ECO CARPET CLEANING better then the standard cleaning? A. We prefer and promote eco-cleaning solutions, since they are green solutions, i.e. environmentally-friendly, and safer for human beings and their pets. This is how we understand “better” cleaning. Applying eco-products in cleaning is as effective as the use of standard cleaning products, and will leave your carpets, and upholstery exceptionally clean and safe. Q. Why are the prices different for the eco- and standard carpet cleaning? A. The natural, plant-based cleaning products are usually more expensive then the standard cleaning products. This is the reason for the price differential. We offer both methods of cleaning, and it is up to the client which products to use. Q. How long does the carpet cleaning process take? A. The process depends on the size of the area to be cleaned. But generally we can complete an entire carpet at your home within a few hours or within your office after working hours. Of course, with the caveat the size of the area to be cleaned will determined the time required for completion. But do be assure that we are quite efficient with our labour and we are sensitive to your requirements that the process be completed as quickly as possible. Q. How long will the carpet take to dry? A. The amount of time required for the carpet to be dried depends on a number of factors, such as the humidity of the house, the exposure to sunlight, the temperature of the home and so forth. Obviously, the less traffic on the carpet will hasten the drying process. In most cases the carpet will be dry in 3 to 6 hours. Q. How often should a carpet be cleaned? A. We recommend that carpets be cleaned at least several times a year in order to preserve their hygienic quality and appearance. Clearly the frequency of cleaning depends on the number of factors, such as whether shoes are worn or not on the carpets, whether there are pets or not, and the number of residents who inhabit the house or populate the office space, among other factors.
