1. DOMESTIC CARPET CLEANING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.1. We ask you to provide us with details, as accurate as possible, about the carpeted area, e.g. size of rooms, number of steps, overall condition of the carpets, as well as to specify the type of cleaning you would like i.e. premium carpet or eco-carpet cleaning in advance of your booking.

1.2. We reserve the right to amend the initial quotation, should your original requirements change.

1.3. We supply all the cleaning materials and professional equipment required for the carpet cleaning.

1.4. You understand that additional Parking and Congestion charge may apply.

1.5. All carpet/upholstery cleaning orders are subject to £50.00 minimum call out charge.

1.6. You must allow the cleaner access to water and power. All fragile and breakable items placed on the floor must be secured or removed.

1.7. If any estimate is given on how long it will take to do the job, this is only an estimate based on the average time it takes to clean a property of similar size.

1.8. We charge per clean rather then per hour so that we can work at our own speed and still get paid for the professional clean we provide.

1.9. We will not be held liable for work not completed, or not completed to a good standard, if other people are present in the property when our carpet cleaners are carrying out the job.

1.10. When it is needed we can move furniture provided it is not too heavy for a single person to move it. It is the responsibility of clients then to move back pieces of furniture to where they belong.

1.11. When it is needed we can move pieces of upholstery, e.g. cushions, to do upholstery cleaning. It is the responsibility of clients then to allow time enough for drying out before arranging them back to where they belong.

1.12. When cleaning rugs, the carpet cleaner can fold the cleaned rug to do the rest of the carpeted area. It is the responsibility of clients then to allow time enough for drying out before unfolding their rugs after the cleaning has been done.

1.2. OFFICE / COMMERCIAL CARPET CLEANING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.2.1. For Office/Commercial Carpet cleaning we charge per square meter.

1.2.2. We reserve the right to amend the initial quotation, should your original requirements change.

1.2.3. We supply all the cleaning materials and professional equipment required for the carpet cleaning.

1.2.4. It is yours responsibility to ensure the services detailed and the areas covered are those required by you.

1.2.5. We can work on statutory holidays, local holidays, Saturdays & Sundays.

1.2.6. We ask you to clear all tables and chairs beforehand in order to facilitate cleaning and to prevent damage done to other items on the premises. All fragile and breakable items placed on the floor must be secured or removed.

1.2.7. You must provide access to water and power free of charge and all our employees are instructed not to use office telephone lines without prior consent. All our employees will be warned not to read or divulge any data left out on the clients’ premises and to respect their privacy.

1.2.8. We will follow the clients security procedures, e.g. checking all windows and doors and alarm the building before leaving the premises.

1.2.9. In the event of the cleaning being prevented by the customer and / or its employee’s or agents including by a trade dispute, it shall be considered as performed and the charge for the said cleaning shall be payable as compensation for time lost and wages paid. This shall include any period where the customer has extended the closure of its premises excess of any statutory holidays (for example over Christmas).

2. END OF TENANCY CLEANING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

2.1. Eco-Clean Home End of Tenancy Cleaning’ package includes professional carpet and upholstery cleaning. Professional external window cleaning can be included at an extra charge.

2.2. We reserve the right to amend the initial quotation, should your original requirements change. The quotation is based on a thorough assessment of the work to be done. While every effort is made to estimate the work as accurately as possible, it is sometimes necessary to include an additional sum in the final account for labour, which could not be foreseen at the estimation stage. These items will always be discussed with you at the earliest opportunity.

2.3. Any estimate of how long it will take to do the job provided by us is only an estimate based on the average time it takes to clean a property of similar size. It is difficult to estimate precisely how long the job may take and a degree of flexibility may be required.

2.4. If collection of keys is required from a location outside the postal code area of the cleaning scheduled, £10 charge will apply.

2.5. We provide all cleaning detergents and equipment required to carry out the service. If you want to provide your cleaning equipment it should be safe and in full working order.

2.6. Fridges and Freezers are recommended to be thoroughly defrosted and empty before cleaning can start. Kitchen cupboards are also recommended to be empty before cleaning can start. Ovens must be in a condition that will enable thorough cleaning with standard or eco-friendly chemical products. We will do our best to make sure your electrical appliances, microwave, oven, fridge/freezer, are cleaned to a high standard. However, if they have not been cleaned for some time we won't be held liable for ingrained dirt that cannot be cleaned using standard or eco-friendly cleaning materials.

2.7. It is always essential you are present at the end of a clean to ensure that you are happy, point out areas you want specifically cleaned, and sign off the work as completed to your satisfaction at the end. We will not be held liable for work not completed, or not completed to a good standard, if other people are present in the property when our cleaners are working and carrying out the job.

3. ONE-OFF/SPRING CLEANING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

3.1. Eco-Clean Home Spring Cleaning’ package includes professional carpet and upholstery cleaning. Professional external window cleaning can be included at an extra charge.

3.2. We reserve the right to amend the initial quotation, should your original requirements change. The quotation is based on a thorough assessment of the work to be done. 3.7. 4. CANCELLATIONS

4.1. You may cancel a carpet-cleaning visit by giving us at least 24 hours advanced notice.

4.2. You may cancel the scheduled End-of-Tenancy cleaning job at least 48 hours prior to the agreed start time. In this case you agree to pay a £20.00 cancellation fee per cleaner if you cancel or change the date/time less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

4.3. You agree to pay 40% of the quote as a cancellation fee in the event of a lock-out cased by our /carpet/ cleaners being turned away; no one home to let them in; no water or power available at your premises; or problem with your keys.

4.4. If keys are provided they must open the lock without any special efforts or skills.

5. COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS

5.1. In case of a complaint, we ask you to notify us within 24 hours of completion of the /carpet/ cleaning work. We will not consider any complaints that are notified after a period of 24 hours. If you are dissatisfied with the work, a carpet cleaner must be allowed to return and re-do the job at no extra charge.

5.2. If you have scheduled an inventory check then it must be scheduled to commence no later than 24 hours after the cleaning job has been carried out. We will not accept a complaint based on an Inventory check report, filed more than 24 hours after the cleaning session.

5.3. We require your presence or that of your representative in the beginning and at the end of the cleaning session as an inspection can be carried out and if any corrections should be made on the same day.

5.4. All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed. Items excluded from liability are: cash, jewellery, items of sentimental value (the customer will be credited with the items present cash value), art, and antiques.

5.5. In case of damage we will repair the item at its cost. If the item cannot be repaired we will rectify the problem by crediting the customer with the item's present actual cash value toward a like replacement from our source upon payment of cleaning services rendered.

5.7. Eco Clean Home cannot be held responsible for:
Wear or discoloring of fabric becoming more visible once dirt has been removed.

Old stains that cannot be removed using normal cleaning methods.

Existing damage or spillage that cannot be cleaned/removed completely by the cleaner using standard carpet cleaning materials.

Accidental damage worth £250.00 or less.

Third party entering or present at the customer's property during the cleaning booking.
Triggering any alarm systems. Customers should provide instructions for deactivation/activation of any alarm systems.

5.8. Occasionally we use services of partner companies and subcontractors when Eco Clean Home’s members are not available. In cases of a client’s claim it is the company that delivers the service that provides its insurance details.
We encourage you at the time of booking to find out which company’s representatives will be sent to do the cleaning at your property.

6. INSURANCE

6.1. Eco Clean Home has public and employer's liability insurance. The policy will cover major accidental damage caused by our (carpet) cleaners. There is £250.00 excess on any claim payable by the customer. Poor service, breakage/damage, or theft, must be reported within 24 hours from our service date. Any claims reported later than 24 hours after the clean will not be considered.

6.2. We reserve the right to refuse to share any of the confidential company’s documents.

7. PRICING

7.1. The prices payable for our carpet cleaning services that you book are set out in our website as a guide only and can change once a carpet cleaner of Eco-Clean Home has seen the property and given an accurate quote. All prices are inclusive of tax at the current rates.

8. PAYMENTS

8.1. We accept the following payment methods:
Direct Bank Transfer or Standing Order. Our Bank Details will be provided upon request.
Cash paid to the (carpet) cleaner/s on completion of the service
PayPal payment (additional fees may be charged to cover PayPal fees)
Cheque payment on completion made payable to Eco-Clean Home.

8.2. If payment is not made after 30 days of invoice Eco-Clean Home will collect any outstanding money owed to us. If as a result we have to use a debt collecting agency or county court to secure payment, you agree to pay any debt collecting agency fees, court fees, legal cost, or interest that will occur due to the result of non payment of your outstanding bill.

9. CUSTOMER SATISFACTIONS AND MONEY BACK GUARANTEE (CARPET CLEANING ONLY)

9.1. If you are not completely satisfied with a carpet-cleaning job, we will return and examine the problematic area. We reserve the right to offer you either to re-clean that area to your satisfaction or to give your money back when you allow us to see the result achieved by another carpet cleaner of complete removal of the stains.

9.2. You must be present at all times during the recovery-clean. We reserve the right not to return a cleaner more than once.

10. OWNERSHIP OF RIGHTS

10.1. All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by Eco Clean Home. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non commercial use, is prohibited without our permission. You may not modify, distribute or repost anything on this website for any purpose.

11. ACCURACY OF CONTENT

11.1. We have taken care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at the time of publishing and that all cleaning services have been fairly described.

12. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR BOOKING

12.1. You will need to provide us with your e-mail address and we will notify you by e-mail as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your booking and e-mail you again to confirm details. By ordering our cleaning services by telephone, e-mail, or our website you agree to be bound by our terms and conditions. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the relevant United Kingdom law. Eco-Clean Home reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these terms and conditions without giving any prior notice. Please check this website for updates.
